ok i searched around and didnt find anything...probably because i didnt really know what to search for...i noticed that when I sign on aim, if I do not send or receive any messages for awhile, the phone goes into dormant mode and I can then receive phone calls. If i choose to send a message again, it goes into high packet mode and I cannot receive phone calls. I am wondering if when my phone is in dormant mode, do I get charged for minutes?

I presume your on Verizon. And no your not supposed to from what I've been read. try searching for "dormant mode"
