any body aware where on desktop computer are backup files stored for sync processing with k7135, I need to delete one DBase reference, for which I am getting a Fatal error message every 30 minutes.
Perhaps we need a few more details about your fatal error. You can use File Manager or any file manager type progam to remove individual files from your 7135. If it is a prc or pdb on your PC in the backup directory, it should also be a file on your 7135.
Can you give a bit more info about the fatal error?
yes from time to time I am getting the following error message on the pnone side of the phone
"Cannnot find or Failed to Open Database <wcCityDB>" if I press OK, it will go away for about 40 minutes or unless I am powerin on the pnone.
Some History, it is my second K7135 and old one was sold, as soon as I add new K7135 on to Cradle and Sync I was promped with Identity of ID and enter the same name as before. All my Backup files including PGMs from old phone have being recovered to a new one. with exception for this mesasage. I think it is leftover from some pgm which is using it or it is a OS file , so I am trying to delete it on both Desktop and K7135
My recomendation is to rename backup file, hard reset phone, and sync again. This should get rid of the annoying error message. Of course, only do this if you cant figure out which file it is.
Please forgive my vagueness...I don't have a 7135 anymore so I can't check. What phone app are you using that might be looking for this missing citydb? For example, aClock and WordAlarm use that file.
