Try searching the forums here (specifically under the 7135 forum). Many people have had problems with AvantGo, but I know some have it working.

Good luck.

If you do install and use Avantgo, be aware that its operation on the 7135 requires a bit of care. After you update your Avantgo channels wirelessly you should always disconnect from the data call and then turn off the phone. You can then turn the phone back on and use it as you normally do. If you don't do this, you get a guaranteed crash. There may be other problems for other users, but I have had stable Avantgo operation with this technique. If you update channels through a hotsync, no special steps are necessary. I find Avantgo to be an essential Palm application, especially with a smartphone. In my experience, it is a more convenient and less memory intensive way to grab daily web content on the go (especially news sites) than using traditional browsers. YMMV.

I have used avantgo on my 7135 for over 1 year with NO problems. If you update your channels using Hot synch you will have NO problems. If yopu do it wirelessly follow the above instructions to avoid crashes.

Maybe for you, but certainly not the case for me. I only updated my channels using HotSync and crashed daily (or more)! Now, no Avantgo and a much more stable 7135.

My experience with Avantgo (updated only through hotsync), is that two things (perhaps in combination) lead to crashes. First leaving Avantgo on the screen and closing the flip. This frequently hangs the phone. Also, losing reception (red light flashing) while Avantgo is running can lead the a hang of the Palm. If I always exit to the launcher before closing the flip, I end up with very few crashes.

True enough. The first one I could control, unfortunately not the second.

I actually have experienced NONE of the problems listed here; been using AG for six months now.
