Okay, I hate to say it, but....
"ekaxel" is right. The 7135 is not quite the same.
I did all my tests on the Car-Kit and found out that.[list=1][*]The 7135 Car-Kit does not have a wire connected to pin 15.

[*]If you did connect to Pin 15, you would not see a change in Ohmage.[*]Nor would you see a discernable voltage change (2.7 volts to 2.6 volts)[/list=1]
But, I did manage to map the pin outs...
Code:
Cable color - 7135 Pin Out
Red - 2 (Charger +)
Red - 2 (Charger +)
Brown - 4 (Unknown: Mic or Speaker?)
Green - 6 (Unknown: Mic or Speaker?)
Orange - 13 (USB +5 Volts)
Yellow - 11 (Unknown: Mic or Speaker?)
Purple - 10 (Ground?)
Blue - 8 (Unknown: Mic or Speaker?)
Black - 16 (Charger -)
Black - 16 (Charger -)
And also get some pictures...

of the cable connector to the 7135 (matches colors above)

of the PCB board of the car-kit.

of the 7135 connector disassembled.

of the evil spring assembly that if your not careful flys apart.

and finally of the 12v Lighter adaptor.
So, there is no RING indicator available to us, thus there is no hack option.
