Black Screen Lock-Up After Hard Reset

1) Hard Reset (post phone drop and triple Lindy)
2) Backup Buddy Restore
3) Everything SEEMS to be working fine
4) Except... as soon as 7135 starts to download email msg list through Eudora, I get the "negative" screen (primarily black)

Suggestions, thoughts, consolations?

- Jim

Just a couple of guesses...does the phone work after the fall? Could the black screen be tied to phone usage?

Or is there something in your backup that is causing this and you keep restoring it. Does everything (I mean everything) work other than Eudora?

everything else seems to work OK - the lock up is only occurring when accessing messages through Eudora.

You might try connecting to the web to see if that works. Also, try a quick search on this forum, I seem to remember a thread about Eudora getting corrupted and how to fix it.

just a suggestion, but how's your battery level? i've had some pretty screwy things - black screen, negative screen, phone locking up. all due to an undercharged battery that i was trying to run too hard.
