When I load this program, does this take the place of the original Kyocera player, or an addition to? What I mean is will I see two MP3 players on my screen? Thanks!
You end up with two MP3 players, but you can then use JackSprat & Jack Flash to remove the Kyocera MP3 player and put BeBopper into Flash, and it works fine.
Oh, I got a question in a private message, so I though I'd post here as well as a private reply....
Jack Sprat will let you delete things from FLASH, Jack Flash lets you put them into Flash, just buy the combo and you have both, otherwise you only have about 70K of free flash....
I removed the demo MP3 song, MP3player, all the ringers and beeps I don't use, and a few other things, and got 2.5 MB free of flash to install the following into Flash....
So if I get the Jack Sprat and the Jack Flash, I can delete the stock MP3 player, and have the BeBopper player as the default in Flash? And I also assume that "Flash" is the built in internal memory?
Yup! You can also remove languages you don't need, and other things from the internal memory of the Phone, and then store other needed applications in FLASH memory thus leaving more RAM free.
Yes, If a file is in Flash RAM, it is "permenant" but when you "re-flash" via an upgrade it will over-write and you need to re-do your personalization.
With this tool, you could remove Graffitti 2 and replace it with Grafitti 1 permenantly.
From a 7135 that has not had an update to the most recent firmware yet. AFAIK, all attempts to downgrade a 7135 with 44/29 firmware have failed. Only solution for that is to buy a program like Jot or TealScript.
I have a 7135 and purchased JackFlash (and JackSprat) as suggested by this thread. When I try to run it, it says that my device is not supported as it doesn't use flash memory! What's going on?

You need the beta versions:
JackFlash: 3.0b14
JackSprat: 3.0b4
and you really should read the literature carefully... JackFlash and expecially JackSprat are not real tolerant of "whoopsies".
