a feature I would kill for

I use the voicedialing on my 7135
Love it, I wish to GOD that in addition to wake up, yes, and no-

it could be trained for all ten digits, one at a time, for voice dialing when you don't have it set in your phone.

simple operation, I want to call, I push the button and speak a name, after a momment, it is echoed back to me, and I confirm with yes or no.

Now I want to push the button and speak a name, or a digit, if it's a digit, it gets read right back to me, and I can speak the next didigt.. then I say "yes" when I'm done and it calls.

a feature I would kill for

And while that's being figured out, how about making the phone respond to an audible "hang up" command?

If it is a feature you would pay for, Verizon's Voice Gear can do what you want for a monthly fee.

the samsung I600 has this feature, including the open app feature.
and the coolest thing of all....
you don't have to train it!

I am assuming that the program is part of the ms smartphone 2002 os.

I'll tell you..... the I600 was a nice phone
but after a week I wanted my 7135 back

I would hope that if he was willing to kill for it, he would be willing to pay $5 for it

I just checked the Verizon web site. According to the brochure, it's $0.50 per call. That's really expensive in my book. I easily make 30-40 calls a month from my car...

I'll stick to using "Wake Up" for free.....

I've got the plan for 5 bucks a months. Probably would be worth calling VZW to see if you could get that rate.

I'd pay 50 dollars for that to be a feature on my phone, i.e. software/hardware but not 60$ year after year...

The slider, and Koi both do it, so I would imagine that the next smartphone they do will support it. It has todo with the voice engine, and at the time the 7135 was done, the voice engine was not ready.
