Any idea what this would be?

When I am on a call & I get another call (Call waiting) my phone starts flashing "Emergency Search...". If I hit the green Send button I do get the person calling. SO it appears to be working but I never get the persons caller ID info.....

Anyone experience this or have any idea what is going on?

All of the other phones I have used/owned have displayed the caller ID info of the incomming call.

Is this the normal way the 7135 deals with call waiting/caller ID?

I do not have the answer, but I certainly admire the problem!

Let me confirm your expererience on US Cellular. My 7135 displays a non-flashing "Emergency Search continuing ..."

On Verizon, however, the 7135 displays the appropriately transmitted incoming call waiting caller-id information.

The audible notification tones are different between the two systems, as well.

Appears to be a US Cellular problem......

Wonder why it only shows up on the 7135, because my wife's phone (Moto T731) does not have the problem.

Will it work on US Cellular?

on verizon call waiting id shows up with out problem.kyocera tech support might be able to help you call them @ 800-349-4478

Firmware upgrade solved my Caller ID issue.
Currently running 29/44 & it is working great!
