Question Sync - Incomming Call

What happens if I get an incomming call while syncing? Can I answer the call without messing up the syncing process?

I realize that I will need to re-start the sync, however I am afraid of getting duplicate datebook/address information, or worse currupting my data to the point where I can't even restore data off my PC.

I also realize that regular back ups to the SD card will help the situation, but if I have currupt data - and then (unknowingly) back up to the SD card with that currupted junk, then my SD backup becomes likewise useless

been there, done that

I've had my phone ring during a sync. It was no problem--I can't remember whether or not I HAD to re-do the sync, but I did just in case. No crash or any other problems.

I do a 1:00am auto backup to my card using BackupBuddy each morning.

Did you answer the phone or let it go to voice mail?
