saving sms "messages" onto pc

Hi there,

is there any way to save the phone's sms messages off into a text document on the pc? I have a 500kb backup file for all my messages (kwc_messages from memory) but this isnt really fully readable and i would love to be able to archive a lot of messages that I have sent. A lot of it would be useful, and a lot of it would be personal nostalgia.

Thanks

If it's really important to you..... You could forward the text messages you want to save to your e-mail address, then copy/save them in a Word file.... you could then save them to a floppy and store them in a bank vault.

I love the ability to send/receive text messages as much (or more) than the next guy, but I'm curious, with a limit of 160 characters, do you really get messages that are so important you feel the need to save them?

Yeah I do. -- phone numbers, IP addresses, URLs, system outage information, etc. etc.

It is simple enough to cut/paste into a memo though. I don't get enough must-save messages to warrant an application.

Oh, be honest with us, for crying out loud, we know that the messages you want to save are the dirty ones from your SO

That program is exactly what i wanted, shame card Processor seems to be only US.

And until MMS, I have been sending messages over 3-5 sms's so the word count does add up
