Car Kits

Anyone have any experience with car kits for the 7135? DC is about to outlaw talking on a cell phone while driving (unless you have a hands-free set). I have seen the Kyocera kit--its it any good?

I'd love a cradle type thing that I could just set the phone into and have charging & talking capabilities in one.

Thanks.

Yes, I'm using the Portable Hands-free Car Kit (TXCKT10013), and it works fine. Nice, heavy duty design. Just wish the speaker had a volume control on it (you have to use the volume controls on the side of the phone), and wish it had some type of permanent mount dashboard holder for the phone. As it is, I lay it on the passenger seat.

I love the car kit. Its the best I've seen so far. Vent mount for the phone, this will save you a lot of hassle. The speaker quality is excellent.

Oh, get them on E-bay. I paid 37.99 and it was brand new.

Was that for the hands-free kit or for a mounting kit?

That was for the Kyocera Handsfree kit. The mounting was like 9.99 or something lower....maybe 5.99.

You can also buy from Dan's here, without paying the Ebay overhead and save a few bucks.

Many of us have had excellent results dealing with Dan.

Yes, I saw that the other item on eBay was from Dan's and had already decided that I would get it through the forum if I decide to buy it, but thanks for the "heads up". Too bad he didn't have the Jabra Freespeak or I would have looked to him for that too.
