wow, lol, interesting!!afterburner stopped my MP3 skipping!?!?!?

I had the MP3 "Hey ya" playing and it skipped like a girl playing hopscotch. I tried reformatting the SD and reinstalling the song but it still did it. I then hit after burner up to 38 and whala, no skips. Thats cool but kinda sucks knowing the dragonball is dragging nutts!

sikpupy, I think of Afterburner as power only when I need it. Afterburner seems to be good for removing skips on higher bit rate mp3s, which is what it sounds like you have. (Not much experience here) What bit rate is "Hey ya" recorded at?
Is it a CBR or VBR mp3? What mp3 converter did you use? What player, Bebopper 113? or the built in Mp3 player? I would like to find out what the highest bitrate the kyo can really handle is, even if it's overclocked.

Skipped on both bebopper and the built in MP3 player. The file is 193 bitrate at 44K, thats all it tells me. I am useing the afterburner trial and it is set at 34. I do not have, nor do I think , I need afterburner applied to anything. Well, thats the assumption as of yet.
