Question Easiest way to get 7135 files to new PC

Ok, I've searched for the answer and checked the FAQ's but couldn't find a specific answer to this question. I have been using the 7135 for over a year now and am about to replace my laptop. What is the best way to make sure I get all the files and preferences on to the new PC after I reinstall the desktop app? Will a synch (handheld overwrites desktop) restore everything or should I copy the backup folder and paste it into Palm directory on new computer. This is probably a stupid question but I'm having a brain cramp about the best way to do this.

Most of your data should get transferred with a handheld overwrites desktop hotsync. The only thing I can think of is if you have installed any programs that have conduits or desktop components (Illium Listpro, Agendus, Docs To Go, QuickOffice, Splash[anything], etc.). You may want to archive or export any data from those desktop programs in case reinstalling the conduits messes with the data on the palm.

Thanks BrerLapn,
I do have both quickoffice and Agendus which I wasn't even thinking about. I have the zipfile from Agendus so that should not be a problem but I think I downloaded Quickoffice directly from their site. I still have the link and will see if it's still active once I get the new PC. Thanks for your suggestions.

Berlapn beat me to his post.... So I'll just reitterate, You could transfer al your stuff from your old PC, but I would use this as an oppurtunity clean out all the old gunk. Reintsall your apps anew and then synch with phone overwrites desktop as BerLapn suggests.
