Unhappy Kyocera 7135

Hey, I recently bought a 7135 on ebay, thinking that since it was a cdma phone, that it would work on my current verizon service. I took it to verizon and got extremely frustrated because they couldn't get it to work. Is there anyone who can help me figure out how to get the phone to work for verizon?

Shouldn't be a problem. If your local store couldn't get it to work on the network, I would call customer service to get it set up. If they don't know, ask to talk to the Data group. Should only take a few minutes to get working.

From an idle screen, enter 111111, select options, then version.

Report back the software versions (MZ and SZ), and the PRI version

I've never heard of anyone having trouble getting a 7135 activated on VZW. Since you already have service you should just call the OTA activation number (*228?) and try to do it on your own. Or call customer service, or take it back to the store... or a different store. Somebody should definitely be able to activate it. Many of us here had 7135's activated by VZW many months before they even knew that they were eventually going to be offering it.

He got it to work, guys (there's a duplicate thread on the same topic). I think Customer Service did the trick...
