The free version of BackupBuddyVFS is fully functional for basic use. Only some of the features are not in it or disabled, but that doesn't prevent you from doing what you need with it.

Actually, Blue Nomad just recently renamed BackupBuddyVFSFree to BackupBuddyVFS:Lite and they now charge $6.95 for it.

That's because it has 1/3 less calories than the other leading brands.

That's o.k., when a piece of software is that essential and does as good a job as BackUpBuddy:VFS, I don't mind paying for it at all. In fact I want to pay for it. they deserve it for making such a necessary and helpful product.

I use a program called Datapro and It does a great job of backing up and restoring to your sd/mmc card. I think I originally purchased the program 3 or 4 years ago from either handera or memoware (for my Palm 505)

I have used SyncWizard and am quite addicted to it. I am not sure if it's exactly what you need, but you can access the entire SD Card THROUGH your Kyo as if it was in a card reader, file icons and all. I dunno how they do it, but it really works. You can access the phone itself the same way, just like a removable drive attached to your computer, and read and write fles (be careful with stuff on the palm itself, you may miss it if you delete the wrong things, course I'd never do that *cough*

I don't think that is quite what he is asking for, but what an interesting program! I use CardExport, which allows me to see the card, but not the Palm itself.

CardExport is horribly slow, though (just like the mp3 syncing software).

Well, I thought it was worth a try. SW's demo was slow compared to the release version. I wonder how they throttled it up/back like that 0.o?

Has anybody used BackupPro 3.0? This is from the same company that made DataPro (they say DataPro has been withdrawn). It doesn't explicitly list the 7135 as being supported, but they do say 3.5.1 for the Kyocera 6035, 4.0, and 4.1. Thanks.
