Ringer program?

Looking for a Ringer program that will set certian rings for different people

The phone can do that by category already, I assume you want more than that.

I'd tried that way already. That way has a flaw.
When someone from my ring category call me part of my ringer type plays a little bit then the ring by category kick in.

Yes, that's how it functions unfortunately. I don't recall ever seeing anything like that...have you searched the forums?

Quick search didn't yield any solution. But there is a suggestion for the problem of the default ring sounding once before the category ring. Someone created a ringer with a delay. I use the vibrate first and found that seemed to fix this problem too.

My issue with it is that I use multiple categories in Outlook. The Palm only sees the first category and that may not be the one AI want tied to the ringer. So i just don't use this feature.

Those are the only ways I have ever heard of to avoid hearing half a second of the default ring before the category ringer kicks in.
