Hello all, hoping someone will be able to help me. I'm trying to set up Eudora to connect with AT&T's email server and cannot get it. I know it can work but apparently one of my settings are off. If someone out there uses AT&T Worldnet with Eudore could you share how you have things set up. Heres what I think I have right..

POP server
ipostoffice.worldnet.att.net:465

SMTP
imailhost.worldnet.att.net:995

I set to overlap POP3 commands
I have nothing set on the 'Send' tab
settings on 'Security' tab
Save password checked
POP
Authentication: best available
SSL Required
SMTP
Authentication: best available
Same as Incoming
SLL Required

Please someone shed a light on my folly. Thanks!

You have to use "Alternate Port" for the Security (SSL) selection. Eudora tries to use SSL over the standard non-SSL ports (110, 25) when selecting "SSL required" instead of the SSL ports (995, 465).
