Details, man! Details!

Does it come up when you are trying to hotsync? What happens when you soft reset? Does the phone come back, but you still can't sync?

You get a list of the programs on the phone, when you touch the screen the Fatal Error appears again.

I've had that happen once or twice. when it happened to me it was because something I installed and the phone did not like. I tried to delete it and couldn't kept getting a fatal Error. if that is your case then do a soft reset and if you have a 3rd party launcher exit that and delete it from the native launcher. it worked for me.

I've had this happen to me a few times on one occasion. Basically, Backup your data, try to hotsync, hard reset and restore.....
