You probably noticed TAKEphONE Forum

at: TAKEphONE Forum

Does anyone has experience with it on his/her 7135?

I read the TAKEphONE FAQ, and it's full of 7135-aware capabilities.

I'm particulary interested (as I asked a few days ago) in the speed-dial management (since it's so missing from the original 7135)

Any experience at all?

Thanks,
Machek

If you use the search utility here you should find a lot on TAKEphONE. It is a great app and the developer has been incredibly responsive to requests/suggestions/inquiries. I've been using it for about a year and would not want to be without it.

I second lnoble's remarks. Takephone is a killer app for the 7135. As a basic dialer it is excellent, and I am very happy with the calling card function, which makes it very easy to use my calling card for talking to friends in Europe. I haven't really used the speed dial app though.

TAKEphONE price went up?

Is it me, or did the price on Handango for TAKEphONE just go up to $19.95 (from $9.95)? I swear it was 9.95 when I downloaded as a trial, and now I want to register..... but I didn't think my delay would cost me $10.

Did I miss something???

Hi,

Yes - the price did come up, so did the value of the software (at least I think so).

When I released the current version (5.05c) I kept the price at $9.95 for a month to allow for old trial users.

Hope this is not too much of trouble...

I would pay $20 for it if I didn't already own it.

How many developers read these boards and release updates based on what their customers want?

Ditto.

I can't think of ANY apps that are better supported than TAKEphONE, both from a troubleshooting and enhancements standpoint.

Of course you folks are correct! The application is very useful - and I just purchased registered copy via Handango (along w/ Zlauncher and BackupBuddy) w/ my new member 10% discount. Just trying to manage the overall investment in the phone.

Now if I could just get XTNDConnect to put the Mobile Number from Lotus Notes into the Mobile category instead of "Other:Mobile"........

And a side note on value - thanks to all for your continued posts in this VERY valuable forum. I'm thinking of the time, $$ and frustration I've saved, only at the expense of my wife calling me a board geek. Sounds like a fair trade!
