7135 Scam on ebay

7135 are becoming a hot item. It was only a matter of time before the scammers moved in.
I bought 4 7135 loaded with accessories this morning for $400. Seller said he would accept escrow, so there was nothing to lose.
After the auction ended he requested payment by Western Union wire transfer (a no-no).
His contact info was a Canadian address and phone number. Money was to be sent to the UK. He had zero feedback.
I chose not to participate and reported him to ebay.
There are others out there, so be careful.

I tried bidding on a 7135 on Ebay once. Before the auction was over I got an email from a different Ebay member saying he could get me the same item for a better price. He said he was selling it to help pay bills. When I replied to him asking the usual questions (what carrier? did he have the service codes? how much had it been used?) all I got back was a reply that said he could me the phone in any color I wanted.

Not a very good attempt at a scam, but a scam none the less.
