connecting to an isp

I can connect to my Alltel isp but I can not connect to my own isp.
I've allways been able to connect with my startac but not with my 7135. I called Kyocera tech support and thay said thay did'nt know why it did'nt work. Does anyone know how to make this work?

Thanks, oilped

More details please

When you say connect do you mean email or using the phone to browse?

Connect to the web (browse) like I do with my home computer from my own ISP. On my laptop I have created a new connection. The computer sees the modem. I dial out. My ISP answers, but will not let me log in. My settings are the same as the connection I have for my Startac. I connect every time with the Startac.

This sounds like the keyboard driver conflict problem. Do you have a keyboard for your 7135? If so, disable the Keyboard driver (uncheck the checkmark for it only, you don't have to uninstall it). Then put the 7135 into fax modem mode and try your connection again. My bet is that it will work. The keyboard driver conflicts with using the 7135 as a modem for a computer.
