I just bought a 7135 to replace my 6035. One thing I miss is being able to record a voice memo with one hand while I was driving - - that's the most common place/time for me when I've got a good idea or I remember I need to do something.

But with the 7135 it appears that I have to dig deep into some menus with my stylus (therefore needing two hands) to record a voice memo. is there another way. Can I assigne one of the naviagitonal buttons (like web) to pull up the record memo function?

Assign a hard button to Memo. Press and hold that button and a new voice memo will begin recording.

while I have your attention, please use the search function on this site...it is your friend and saves repeating posts many times.

I think it comes stock on the 7135.....

Just hit & hold the memo button for about 2-3 seconds....
It goes to memo first...keep holding....then to record a voice memo.
