Clock prog as default when opening

I would like to make my clock program the default program when I open my 7135, is there a way to do this?

Bill,

I assume you are referring to AutoExec? Will that execute a program when the phone is opened? Your original description said it will run a program after a soft reset.

WalCwlr;

Autoexec runs after a soft reboot.

I see now I did not answer the initial question.

The more I think about it, what would cause a program to initiate just by opening the phone?

I assume the backlight goes out when the phone is closed and turns back on when the phone is opened. Someone might write a program that uses what ever it is that turns on the backlight to initiate a program, but I am unaware of such a program.

Regards;

If I remember what I read in the API correctly, opening and closing the flip are treated exactly like any other key press. It would be very easy to detect the flip opening, but I am not entirely sure how to trigger another application to launch when the event is detected

Yeah, you would think a hack could be written to change the question in Flip Settings from "Show Phone Display" to "Run which program?" Looks like it is just running the Phone App when selected.
