Bad "vibe"

I'm very happy with my 7135 and owe it all (or most) to the sharing members of this forum. I have one teeny little quibble that really bugs the p**s out of me, tho. On my old Motorola V60 I could change from ring to vibe with the side up/down volume buttons. Doesn't it seem odd that you can "page" through high, medium, low, and silent modes with side buttons, but have to use a stylus and go 3-4 levels deep to change to vibrate? What were these morons thinking? Oh, well, my rant for the day. I feel better now!

You can force the phone into a silent mode by holding down the external down button for a few seconds with the phone still closed. The phone will vibrate and then display a silenced bell on the top display. To clear it and place back in regular mode hold the up button for a few seconds.

As noted in my message, the phone goes through high, medium, low, and silent modes, but skips vibrate mode. That was my point.

silent mode is vibrate mode(at least for me),when i hold the side button it says silent mode and when a call comes in it vibrates.the thing i miss is i like vibe and ring together and this phone only has vibe then ring, they dont happen simultaneously

Andy is right. Pressing and holding the down button puts the phone in "silent" mode, which means that the phone will vibrate when a call comes in.
