1) Is there a way to tell the MP3 player what order you would like to play your songs each time? (Besides when you first copy them to the SD - - and I'm not sure I even know how to put them in a certain order even when I do that).
2) Is there a way to group the songs on the SD, for example I'm putting together an SD with just Beatles songs but I'd like to have them grouped in sub folders or some other way so they are separate CDs/albums but on the same card;
3)Is there a way to plug my Kyocera into a desktop stereo to play the MP3s on the SD using the Kyocera as the player?
1. & 2. Many users (including myself) have upgraded to BeBopper because of this added funtionality. I think the answers are "no" with the basic player.
3. I know you would at least need an adapter. Try a quick search on this forum.
1) The MP3's will be in the order they were put on the SD card, so if you copy them one at a time in the order you want, that is how they will appear. You can also re-order them on the phone while connected to your desktop using the Kyocera MP3 desktop. However, a better solution is to buy BeBopper www.belltools.com (free trial available) which allows you to build multiple playlists in the order you choose on your phone.
2) Not with the built-in MP3 player, but yes with the newest release of BeBopper.
3) You will need a headset adapter. There are a couple available. A fellow named Coolcat makes very high quality adapters, but his lead time is quite long. Search the board and you will find links to his site, and links to another adapter from Hongkong that has had good reviews. Note that the headset plug in the Kyo is non-standard wiring, so you can't just go down to Radio Shack and pick up an adapter.
I have the PC-mobile adapter and it works great (http://pc-mobile.net/ky7135.htm). There have been some complaints that it is not as loud as the coolcat adapter. However, you shouldn't have a problem since you plan to connect it to a stereo. I have some Logitech z680 speakers that I hooked the phone up to and the sound was AWESOME! I would say that you should get the BeBopper software, as the others have mentioned.
