I have purchased and used Kinoma Producer 2 quite extensively.
Sorry about the exchange - but I can say, with a 512mb SD card
attached and mostly full - after reading that Kinoma can compress
MP3's, I tried some. The results in my opinon are these:
Mono compression is just okay. Stereo is worst and no saving on space.
Kinoma Producer does and awesome job at video compression with sound amplified to maximum. Pixel is a little spotted, however
in my attempt to take my DS9 & Next Generation DVDs and load onto SD, I have found that I can load about 3 at 111mb to one SD
That is impressive considering each episode is about 2gigs in VOB format.
So over all, just to get back to the subject at hand :p - Kinoma in my opinon is only good for MOVIES & STILLs, not sound.
