MinutesPlus Question

I had a 17 minute call today (during peak hours) that came from a "Restricted Number" (Caller ID showed "Restricted"). The time for this call is not being reflected in my peak total. Is this an option that is not set properly, or is it perhaps an "undocumented feature" of the software.

Thanks for your help!

If you called *611 to get your minutes, you should know that the system is not real time. It seems to be updated once or twice a day.

they also clearly say that "not all minutes may be reflected" in their estimate.

The end of month statement is the definitive source.

I should have stated that I'm using MinutesPlus v1.03 to track my mintes. Sorry about this mis-understanding.

I also noticed that this call seems to be considered as a Free call. Did I miss a setting in Free/M2M?

Thanks for any info!

I had a problem with a restricted call getting missed. There was something wrong on my screen because when I created it again, the call was accounted for. I also removed and reinstalled the program while testing so technically I don't know if that was the solution, but it's something else to try.

I don't know what's going on with the restricted number. Another user emailed with the same problem. I asked if I could get copy of the call log to try to track it down. Haven't heard anything yet, so I guess that means no

Please tell me how to copy the call history log and where to send it.

Also, Minute Counter v1.12 seems to account for this call properly.

Thanks for your help!

The file is called kwc_CallHistoryDB.PDB. You'll find it in your Palm<username>Backup directory. Email it to the address in the docs. I'll also need to know the date/time of the call. You might want to also send along your exclusions list since you said it showed up in your free calls list. That one is rwMP_ExclusionsDB.PDB.

I've emailed both files to you. Please let me know what you find.

I've debugged the problem, and will post the fix in a little while.

Is there a way to display the Adjusted or Shared items on a custom screen. I am on a Shared Family plan and would like a easy screen to use to compare my wifes usage to the Verizon site. I didn't see any of those fields in the Screen editor.

What I am trying to get is something like this:

My phone usage : XXX Mins
My Wifes Phone : XXX Mins
TOTAL usage : XXX Mins

Right now, Total includes any Shared or Adjusted numbers. I guess I am looking to separate those numbers....

I don't beleive anyone said it, but the original 17 minute call from a "restricted number" could have been from a Verizon cell phone, and wouldn't count against the peak minutes>

The original 17 minute call that started this thread was from a land line.

No, the call record actually had a BLANK phone #, which was what tripped me up. It's been fixed..

They are not there now, but it's a good request. I'm going to put it on the list of 'stuff-to-add-when-I-get-time'.
