VerizonWireless Tech Support - 7135 Phones

Hi All,

Just an FYI, My 7135 have been randomly going into fatal expections. Finally got a chance to stop by local VerizonWireless Store to see tech support. To my surprise, they said they don't work on the 7135 phones for the PDA side. They gave me this number 800-308-3282 to deal with. It was the wireless division of Verizon.

Explain the problem and they are doing an exchange for me since my phone is less than a year old.

Same thing happend to me yesterday. I called my local store and this guy told me to come in for an upgrade, I go in and tech support gave me the same number.. Whatever! I stupidly didn't get the guys name that told me to come in.

I guess I am stuck w/ this thing. I just want less crashes. "Is that so wrrrong??"

I was able to get a 7135 swap at the Providence, RI (at the Providence Place mall) a few days ago. I complained about frequent crashes, etc, and told him there was now a Rev B version of the phone. I was pretty insistent that I knew I needed a swap. He said to come back in 30 minutes.

30 minutes later I walked in and was handed my new phone. Only suggestion - don't forget to pull out any SD card you have in the old phone - I almost forgot mine! I checked at the store, and the new one is the Rev B (larger antenna stub and new part number on the inside sticker).
