I have silverscreen and launcherx on my phone. I am also a big fan of this program. I do have a few problems that might not have been a problem on your old Palm. Sometimes when the phone has to be reset, it loses the tab settings. I recently tried to upgrade to the new version of silverscreen and it would not work with my Backdrop program. I re-loaded the old version and it seems to work, but it will not allow me to save the ticker that they have on their webpage. I guess I need to play around with it a little more. But I do like the ability to change the "desktop". So I will not be changing it anytime soon.
I also have Launcherx installed. It makes it easier to save programs to the SD card.
