Hi, there have been many satisfied MilliKeys users here in the past so I'm looking for anyone here to try these new layouts I've made and offer some opinions.
I call them the "omelettes". These are 8x3 layouts so they have very big keys.
I'm trying to get opinions of how effective these layouts are in the long term, so please practice it for a few hours before reaching a verdict.
The attached file contains the stamps, layout memo, and the latest version of MilliKeys. Please read readme.html for installation instructions.
I've never tried milikeys yet because I wasn't sure about how to properly print out the graffiti stamps. So what's the best method for printing these stamps out for use on the 7135? Is there a particular label size or material that people are using to get the best results? And what software gives you the right dimesnions, etc? Thanks...
Well, how you print the stamp all depends on what software you have. What you need is software that will let you print an image at a specific size. The only free software I know of that will let you say how big to print an image is the office suite OpenOffice.org (http://OpenOffice.org). You insert the stamp into a blank document, then resize it with the mouse, and as you drag it, the size in inches is displayed in the status bar.
If anyone has a better approach I'd like to hear it.
What I'd like to do is get these stamps in PDF form, with a different PDF file for each type of Palm. I don't have PDF writing software so I can't make the PDFs myself. Also, I don't know how big the various models of graffiti area are.
Can someone tell me the exact dimensions of a 7135 or graffiti area are?
Anyway, for me I just print the stamp on ordinary paper and use an ordinary glue stick to put it on the screen. I have a screen protector underneath, but I think it's safe to glue directly on the screen because the glue in a glue stick is washable (just don't use TOO much water when you're washing it, see?).

You can print an exact size with IrfanView. I call this program "poor man's PhotoShop". Great free app.
I'm trying out the NEW QwrteOmlet layout. I like the large keys! Does Tap and hold work in this layout? How do you do a shift? I can't figure out how to do a Cap H. I use to do the Tap and Hold shifts, but not sure if they will work since you have characters on the sides of the keys.
I just drag the PNG file into Word and they print fine. I then put a Strong protector over it.

Tap & hold is not enabled by default but you can configure it in the Stroke Detection screen.
Shift is stroke up or down from Apps.
2 ways to get uppercase H:
1. Stroke down from H
2. Stroke right from H and hold, OR hold and stroke right
