After doing the 44/29 upgrade, I notice 1 minor annoyance.
When I get a voice mail, I would go into my messages and
click on the "1 Voicemail" message.
Prior to the upgrade, 3 soft buttons come up of which one was "Check" meaning check voicemail. That is now gone,
Did I forget to do something?
I noticed the check button was gone too. But you can just hit the green telephone button and it will dial your voicemail. Actually, it's a little easier.

Hey, you're right! I never did/tried that before, and it is much easier (especially when driving).

Doh... it seems its hardwired to *86. Why didn't they use the number configured in the Messages->Settings->Voice Mail ??

The real easy way to check your voice mail is to do the following.
Go to the messages screen.
Tap on the menu button, lower left button under the "house".
Get into the settings tab.
Tap on the voice mail settings.
Edit the voice mail #.
At this point you can enter anything you want to access your voice mail like teh following.
#######,,*1234,7.
This dails my phone to voice mail, pauses, enters my passcode and then pauses and then enters the command to play the first message.
All of this works from press the 1 button and holding it for about 2 seconds.
Ahh yes, I had this before, and after the update, I needed to add another pause. Verizon also seems to have callers go for 6 rings now instead of 4 to get to my voicemail. The scripted dialer I had was now too fast, and it thought the 11 was part of my password.
Here is mine. Btw, I guess you all know it's a moneysaver too, since *86 uses peak minutes, and calling yourself is mobile minutes ..pretty sneaky, Verizon Note I am with Verizon, and on the east coast, so mine is different than Greg's
10digit num(area code works locally too)| 2 pauses| #(prompts for your password)| 2 pauses(added one)| password| 1,1 (checks new messages first)
**********,,#,,#####,1,1

In case you missed my message, when you dial *86 it's easier to code that in all the phones (kinda universal), AND Verizon gets your peak minutes used up when you do it $$$$ Calling your own mobile number from your phone uses mobile minutes, and better still, calling it from home (and not answering of course) is *free*
