Graffiti touch panel (hardware)

My graffiti panel is getting used. (sheesh... duh! :eyesroll )
Its been like 9 months of shorthand all over it...
I've bought 3 packs of oem styles from Kyocera (so I guess that means I've averaged a new style/month since day one). I use a cross micropen alot too. (just lost my fav' olive-drab one)
But man, all it takes is one factory tour, then a hurried meeting w/ a potential sub-contractor to Jot in some airborn crap into the pad. (and this happens to me All To Often) My screen is still lookin' good... but the pad is wantin' some LOVE ... (retirement)!

Anyway...I'd like to buy a couple (or even a 6 pack of graffiti pads, I'll give say $75 for a 6 pack? ) Anyone have a source for "Field service parts"? Please pm or email me.

I keep the screen and pad clean w/ a laptop screen cleaner (alcohol and ammonia free!) using lint and wood pulp-free polishing cloths. ( i get those at Staples office supply!)
I've been using this stuff for years. loveit.

You don't use a screen protector? especially on the graffiti pad that gets all the abuse

I know general consensus is coverit up.
But...

I want a $12.50 new G pad once... (or twice!) not 5 packs of saranwrap at 10 bucks a pack.

I'm starting to like Beryls suggestion....3/4" Scotch Tape-the removable kind the blue box.... Feels like paper, no glare, and it comes in rolls!

Kyocera doesn't mention screen protectors ANYWHERE in their literature!
So hopefully some kind Kyocera employee can hook us up w/repairs or parts. I use the damn thing, its not a piece of art, it's just a tool. I can buy a new power switch for my Nikon.

You know what... I was inspired by (forget his alias) that just requested his MSL from Bell Mobility. (they gave it to him)!
Maybe they'll (Kyocera) will say "sure what par't do you need... Antenna?, Battery door? Oh graffiti pad? sure $12.50 plus shipping, You want some help putting it in?)

<aka.bugle> ... guaranteed not to crack, corrode, colect dust, rust, or bust. YMMV

I feel your pain...
I recall a post, all evidence of it was lost during the big server crash of course, that was looking for and found a replacement mic for his 7135. If I recall he found the part by contacting the parts distributors that supply the cell manufactures like Kyocera. Perhaps he or another will hear your cries and post his findings.
Sorry I couldn't be more specific, hope this helps.

PS: hey jigsawman repost those pics of your dissasembled 7135 it was a great reference!
