Smoking 7135?????

No, my 7135 is not on fire

But, I've heard that smoke is one of the worst things for any piece of electronic equipment

>>>Is it ok for the 7135 to be exposed to 2nd hand smoke?????

I had taken my previous cell phone to parties/bars where people were smoking, and it worked ok for a year or so, and then service started dying randomly (could have been unrelated, or could have been sprint--hehe--I know that opens up a whole can of worms with some on the board...)

:BigKnife:

I'm about to take my 7135 to it's first smokey party environment, should it be in leather case, in pocket, plastic bag???

Any thoughts?

TIA

nicotine is deadly to contacts.. it can dry things out. back in the late 60's/early 70's there was a lot of heavy smoking in recording studios and the nicotine dried the faders out so much they would sound like sand paper when you moved them. so smoking was out.

ok i digressed.. but i don't think the party you are going to will hurt the phone any. not much in the phone that can be affected except maybe the sd slot. i would definitely keep the card in the slot and not take it out.. smoke can attach itself to the contacts on the card and tarnish the finish. but besides that... your cool!

drink one for me! :drink3

Yes, make sure that you're quick enough with the graffitti input to 'smoothly' capture phone #'s of date prospects.

And, don't put it in a plastic bag or your pocket, unless you don't want to get any phone #'s....:Funk:
