I can't stand to have my phone acknowledge, either through a click or a beek, that I've selected an icon. I can see, so I shut off system sounds. I would like to have my phone make some quirky little startrek sound when I open and close it, but I can't because I shut off system sounds.

Does anyone know how to have the flip sound but not the click sound?

Yes, install the hack (you'll need a hack manager like X-Master) called "TechSounds". You can get it from PalmGear.com. Within that hack, you can control most of the sounds that the 7135 makes. I have the "Click", "Sync Up", and "Sync Down" settings on "Silent". This way I get no click when I tap on things, and I don't get the sounds when a hotsync starts and stops. The PalmOS system sound can then be set to your desired volume level without the problem. Works great!
