Good observation! After seeing this I took the wrist strap off of a small digital recorder I haven't been using and it is a perfect fit! You just thread the small loop of leader thread through the hole and then back around itself and it's a nice more secure way of handling the 7135 in case it were to slip out of you hand.

I purchased my strap off Ebay. It's been very handy.

The one from my camera works too.

Does the Kyo leather case have a hole to run the strap thru to the outside of the case?

Yes, the leather case fits in such a way that you can still use the hole for the strap.

Actually, I'm really liking it the handstrap. THANKS, KLiuLess! It reduces the geek-factor IMO and makes porting it around without a case less hazardous.
