Push in "reset" (in the battery compartment) while holding down the backlight button. After you release the backlight button you'll be prompted.

Does doing a hard reset erase all previous info(Which is what I want) I tried holding down the bulb button while pressing the reset button by the battery but all my info comes back.

mine did its own hard reset

I've had my 7135 for a couple of months. I went from skeptical and wondering if I could live through the problems, to being totally enamored with the thing.

However, it decided to do a glitch last night while working with phone. It went blank, and sure enough, when it came up viola, nothing!

It just happened that the evening before I downloaded a trial version of Right Backup. I also had the foresight to run a backup, which ran completely. Even more brilliant, I said yes to copy the program to my SD card so it would be handy. I did!

So, I ran the restore right from the card and in less than 5 mins. I was completely back up and running. I had spent several weeks working with my new DateBK 5 and some other programs and had a lot of work invested in all of that. No problem... its all there! I even have it set to automatically backup every morning now. Which is working great!

Guess who is buying Right Backup?

But I guess we all have our own stories. But be forewarned, your phone just might decide to play head games and do a HARD (a VERY HARD) reset. If you don't have your programs and files backed up and available. Its toast!:p
