Has anyone else seen the 1X Icon Where the D Icon should be in the top left corner of the phone app. I am refering to the one that shows a D in a box when you are on a digital tower. Mine constantly has a 1X in a box. I can not find this anywhere in the manual. Does any one know what it means?

Just verizons indication of a digital signal capable of higher data speeds. Other threads on it.

Sorry After I posted this I figured out how tosearch for 1X by adding an * after it to meet the three letter search criteria. I found the answer. I guess I am in an Express netwrok area which is weird becuse they have not announced it in my area yet. I just love this site. It is easier to find the answer here then Calling Kyocera or Verizon.
