I am still trying to find a source for an animated, localized, color weather radar that I can view on my 7135. Trying to get Alltell Axcess shop app to work has been hell - that whole company seems to want to forget they ever sold the phone. There is a sweet BREW application from accuweather.com that does what I want, but it doesn't appear that that particular BREW app will ever work on a 7135 if if ever can get the Axxcess thing to work. (latest problem is it can only be synced down from a PC - I run a Mac; I alreay had it synced on once by an Alltel rep, but it always reports 'no authorized to connect'). NOAA sites are pretty good, and fairly easy to view with the EIS browser on the phone, but they show a large area and are not animated.

any ideas?, aside from buying a dumber phone that runs BREW application at the touch of a button?

searching google effectively

by trying things like the following for a search
palm site:weather.com
results include
http://www.weather.com/services/pda/...?from=pdaindex

a relevent snip says

"All other Palm devices can surf current conditions, forecasts and weather news by visiting www.Palm.com and downloading The Weather Channel's web clipping application. A modem or other wireless connection is required."

note, this does not seem to indicate maps in motion on palm exist, but it is the BEST way to find such specific info on websites.

(it's also the VERY BEST way to get relevent results from microsofts knowledgebase) i.e. search for
problem site:microsoft.com
