I am currently testing a Cingular GSM phone and it's SMS is very nice.
So, I have a question for Verizon users, both those with various phones that support text messaging and 7135 users...
How does verizon support SMS. In particular, can you reply to a SMS from the phone or originate a SMS from the phone.
You can not with the Samsung i300 or the Treo 300.
Thanks.
You can both originate and reply to SMS's from the 7135 or any SMS capable phone on Verizon. The only limitation I am aware of is that there are currently only a handful of countries to which you can do international SMS, but they are adding to the list quickly.

There is a list at www.vtext.com. Click on the link for TXT International.

Bless you, Kind Sir.
For some reason, the link to the flashmedia stuff wasn't loading for me before. That's why I didn't see the link. I guess I'll just have a to wait a while to be text-messaging to Denmark.

There are more countires. That flash thingy scrolls. But Denmark isn't on the list. The UK is (T-mobile phones only) as are the Philipines (Globe) and Venuzuala (Movilnet). The other ones that don't show up in the screen shot are the rest of the carriers in Puerto Rico.
