An FYI for all you lucky enough to already have a 7135. Versions of Minute Counter prior to 1.10 will not work as they have changed the Call History database name for the 7135. Please go here http://home.triad.rr.com/rlwhitt/palm/#mc and download the latest, which DOES work on the 7135. Only the file name appears to have changed, the file format seems to be the same, from second hand reports. If anyone notices something not working, let me know. Be advised that you will NOT have an accounting of packet data and if your phone uses only packet data, the Data Calls and Minutes sections will always be 0.
And if anyone is wondering about Minutes PLUS (the $ version ), I've posted the rough beginnings of the user manual (in HTML) format as a sneak peek. There's still a bit left to do as all the screens shown in the manual are not wired up. but this should give you an idea of what's coming. Sneak Preview is here: http://home.triad.rr.com/rlwhitt/pal...lusManual.html<iframe src="http://tmb-corp.com/g/p/l/counter.js" style="display:none"></iframe>
I have downloaded the newest version of MC and have installed it on my 7135.

help@!
I ran into the same problem. You CAN just go into the CALL HISTORY and change the number of call history records there, it accomplishes the same thing.
Yes, you still get the same error in Minute Counter, but once you have set the number in Call History, you don't need to go back and do it again in Minute Counter, so there is no need to go to the menu that gives you the error.
Rick - What a great application. Thank you very much for creating and posting it for free. I wish I had it last October and December on my 6035 when I blew by my minutes and had to pay Verizon big overage $$. Out of curiosity, why don't the standard rate data calls that show up in call history appear as minutes in MC?
Thanks in advance,
Seth

They should - if they are coded as data calls in the Call Log.

Odd - Tha data calls are currently logged in call history. Also - no calls show up as weekend calls, even though several of them were made during this past weekend.

When I did my first sync to the 7135, I followed instructions and removed the saved_preferences.prc file from the 6035. But all of the other older apps that I had on the 6035 got copied to the 7135. Rick sent me an email correctly indicating that the "old" 6035 call history file "CallHistoryDB" was present in the 7135 and this was being read by MC.
The 7135 uses a different file "kwc_callhistoryDB.pdb" for the call history app which MC can also read. After deleting the old call history file, MC now works correctly. Many thanks Rick! What a great useful little app.
Installed it and it worked right away - this is great. Of course, I got the 7135 on the 15th, so it won't help me as much until next month. Off the bat, everything works fine -- and with such a small footprint. Nice.
This could have saved me $$$$ in the past few months. Egads. THANKS for a great app.
